This cruise schedule prepared by the Port of San Diego is for the convenience of travel agents and the local-related tourism business. Unless otherwise noted, all ships berth at the B Street Pier Cruise Terminal. All dates listed reflect the San Diego ship call date.
The Port of San Diego welcomes many cruise ships throughout the year at San Diego's cruise terminals. The B Street Cruise Ship Terminal is conveniently located in the very heart of thriving, vibrant downtown San Diego and a short distance from countless attractions.
San Diego Visitor Information Center
San Diego is on cruise ship itineraries that include other fabulous destinations including, but not limited to, the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, and even distant locales such as Tahiti. Cruises are designed to please people of all ages and vary in length.

Cruising into and from San Diego
The San Diego Cruise Ship Terminal is conveniently located on the B Street Pier in downtown San Diego, a short distance from countless attractions.
Amenities
The cruise ship terminal is a comfortable, colorful place for passengers. There are wheelchair accessible elevators and a passenger gangway. Customer service representatives are available to help if there are any special needs.
Security
The cruise ship terminal operates in compliance with current U.S. Coast Guard Security Standards. Due to increased security, the following measures have been enacted:
If driving, you may drive onto the pier by presenting your ID and a ship ticket for sailing on that specific date.
If arriving by air or motorcoach, all luggage must have your name and address attached.
You will be required to show a picture ID and ship ticket in order to enter the cruise ship terminal.
Again, your picture ID and ship ticket must be shown along with your passport, birth certificate, etc for check-in with the cruise line.
Picture ID and your security card must be shown at the gangway in order to embark ship.
A picture ID and ship ticket are required upon accessing the pier until boarding of the ship.
Checking In
Once you pass security, you will need to check in at your cruise ship counter. Check your boarding document for your arrival time at the cruise ship terminal. Come prepared for check-in. Have your ID and ship ticket ready and allow about an hour for processing time.
Directions
The San Diego B Street Cruise Ship Terminal at 1140 North Harbor Drive [map and directions] is approximately ten minutes from San Diego International Airport and the Santa Fe Train Station. It also is easy to access from San Diego’s major freeway systems.
By Car
Driving North on Interstate 5: Take I-5 into downtown San Diego. Exit on Hawthorn (airport exit). Hawthorn Street steers west toward the San Diego Bay waterfront and Harbor Drive. At Harbor Drive, make a left. From that point, the cruise ship terminal is approximately one-fourth of a mile south on the right.

By Plane
For those arriving to San Diego by air, the terminal is a 10-minute ride from San Diego International Airport. An area devoted for taxicab pick-up is located just outside of the baggage claim areas of the airport’s two main terminals and commuter terminal.
A new service for passengers of select cruise lines allows them to skip baggage claim at the airport. Cruise line representatives will pick up guests’ checked items and deliver them directly to the ship. Please check with your cruise line or travel agent to arrange for this service.
By Train
Cruise passengers arriving in San Diego by way of Amtrak will be let off at the Santa Fe Depot station. The station is a short distance from the cruise terminal, so you may walk or take a taxi service to the terminal. For those choosing to walk, travel west on Broadway Street toward the terminal, which will be in sight.
Traffic, Transit, and Travel Information
SANDAG and the San Diego Transportation Partners provide real-time traffic information with driving times and incident reports, transit route and fare information, carpool and vanpool information, and commute options from its 511 Web site.
Parking
Passengers arriving by personal vehicle may NOT park on the pier while on your cruise. Click here for Parking information
Parking Lot Located at Lane Field (corner of Broadway and Pacific Highway) will close for parking effective May 9, 2016.
Note: One of the services available for cruise customers are pedicab rides to the ship. These are independent operators not associated with the Port or the parking facilities operators. Please negotiate a price with them before accepting a ride.
